Shutdown Xp Faster

SHUTDOWN XP FASTER 2

Start Regedit.
Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Control.
Click on the "Control" Folder.
Select "WaitToKillServiceTimeout"
Right click on it and select Modify.
Set it a value lower than 2000 (Mine is set to 200).

Njoy Testing.... smilie

Shutdown Xp Faster

This is Forced Shutdown & is possible in all Windows version except the 3.x or 4.x family. It doesnt close all the currently loaded applications, but simply aborts them. This may sometimes have serious consequences if used as a regular shutdown process.

Some services related data could be lost.. I would not encourage the use of this tweak.
