What is a Reputation?
Reputation, as the name suggests, is your reputation in the BollyEnt community. A user with more reputation suggests, the user is a good member of the community acting through the community spirits.
Each member group can give 5-25 reputations per day (depending on the group/level). You may give or receive reputation based on the following examples:
User likes an article/pile of information shared by you. (+1 for you)
User appreciates your help. (+1 for you)
User dislikes a comment posted by you. (-1 for you)
You break the rules. (-1 for you)
User may also chose to give you 'neutral' reputation, which still affects positively if you have got some negatives.
It's repetitive; i.e. it doesn't means that a user will only give you reputation once in life-time, but instead it can be numerous times in a week, in a month etc.
Need to dispute a reputation added to your name?
If someone decided to act cheesy, and gave you (or someone else) a reputation that is neither ethical nor does it holds any truth to it, then you need to report it to one of the administrators or the team members.
Be a good reputable member!
After reading this in the "Help" section, I had the understanding that you are allowed to give a positive/negative/neutral reputation to a member according to what you felt about that person on that day or week or after reading an article they posted.
Well, I tried to give Mehak another positive vote, but all I got was either delete or update your earlier reputation. Anyway, I have given her another reputation today, but the number did not increase, although my earlier one was deleted and updated with my latest one.
I don't understand how a person's reputational vote could increase once a member has given a vote and can't give another one.
I also noticed in 'man420ca' reputation that he has four votes but only three feedbacks ... how does that work?
Would love to be guided as to how this thing works.
Thank You.
