In this thread i will share all my beauty secrets and products ... i have nothing to hide ... u can leave a question if u like and nope im not vain i jus think its healthy and hygenic to take care of oneself and most of all im worth it , you're worth it ... ( ok im not campaigning for L'oreal ... )

My Daily Soft-Skin Schedule

Morning: I wash my face moisturizing cleanser ( Serious Skin Gycolic ) , then apply
a moisturizing cream ( Dove ) with atleast 15 spf ( sunscreen lotion ) within three minutes of patting my face dry.
My Body i use Vaseline Intensive care ( Cocoa butter ) after a few mins of my shower

Midday: Spot-apply moisturizer ( Lubriderm or Keri lotion ) to any parched patches.

Throughout the day: Remember that the three-minute rule applies to your hands, too. Lube 'em up just after you wash 'em. ( Vasline intensive , keri or lubriderm )

Before bed: i Wash my Face again with my cleanser ( Serious Skin Gycolic ) , then apply a luxurious night cream ( Dove without sunscreen ) ) suitable for my face ( make sure u know ur skin types ) i use a rich moisturiser for my body and hands usually keri , vasaline intensive ( cocoa butter )

With a healthy balance diet and 6 to eight glasses of water , tea and juice , i ensure silky smooth skin and prevents skin disease and premature aging and i have beautiful skin to last many yrs to come

, dont do tht much .. just apply a sunscreen with a moisturiser .. and move out nothing else .. never had any skin probs
no day night creams for me ..

i haven't been using any day night cremes, either! though i've kinda combination skin i think..
umm.. i do cleanse everyday, with a moisturising cleanser, just once in a day normally. watelse..

well all i do is put cocobutter lotion on be4 i go 2 sleep that way my skin isnt tooo dry

@ simms and farah ... the dry climate here causes skin to dry out thts why deep moisturizing is necessary ... gud choice there pragati i dun like the smell of cocoa butter but i luv the one by Vasaline Intensive .. its a new product , came out recently , ive been using for a couple of mths now ... too good.. *thumbs up* ...

umm farah , a cleanser is meant for cleaning the face and the cleansing process takes away all of the natural oils in your skin so you should also follow up with a really good moisturizer , make sure u get one tht is good for your skin type AND DUN FORGET UR SUNSCREEN ... to prevent sun damage , im sure u dun wanna look like 35 when ur 25

simmi deari ... it is all abt moisturizing ur face to maintain ur skin appearance , especially if u wanna keep ur baby soft skin i recommend a moisturizer both morn and night .. jus get one tht is gentle and does not consist of any sunscreen for night..

My Hair ... i usually use Pantene Pro v for my regular wash and Head and Shoulders shampoo once a week to prevent dry scalp and dandruff.. i had highlights done last december and in less than 3 mths i had some black put in just to soften the look , the Bronze highlights were good enough for the holidays lol... anyways i noticed my hair started to dry out ... so im using a product Marc Anthony Ultimate Moisture Finishing Cream , works really well , also im using Infusium which i usually use to prevent any dryness... i dun like oily hair ... it looks really awful ... i recommend u to wash ur hair as often as possible ... makes ur hair silky , bouncy, fresh and healthy

i also use Nick Chavez Products , very expensive but awesome i use only when im goin out on a special occassion

hey aly i use exactly the vaseline u have in ur pic that creme bottle , but only in winters because it is too moisturizing and there is no scope for using it in summers here ..
it is the only thing i use in winters

in summers i switch a sunscreen with light moisturizer like blossom kocchar or vichy or something like that

^ cool simms... yeah u dun need a rich moisturizer ... u have a warmer climate... do wear sunscreen during the winter tho.. there is sunlight reflection during the day yaar ...

have u ever wondered why ppl in there mid or late twenties .. u see the skin is drooping ?? like gravity pulling the skin down ... thts becoz the skin wasnt taken care of... sun damage takes a few years to show up ... the skin becomes premature aged ...

oh my gosh alys i also use vaseline intensive care it is a great product like u say *thumbs up* oh yeh its new i've been buyin 4 bout 3 years so it isnt new
i use pantene too but i dont like head and shoulders

oh yeah Vaseline Intensive been arud since my mom days ... but the cocoa butter brand i neve saw tht in stores only recently or maybe i wasnt looking for tht ...

lol ... i dun like head and shoulders too but its good to prevent flakes from ur hair... i use atleast once a wk ... or in 2 wks ..tfs

Every season a new rash of fragrances hit the market. So which ones are worth the bucks?

My favs so far is Calvein Klien - Obsession .. too gud and i luv the fragances of Ralph Lauren .... the scents are very soft and sensual , light and airy ... very natural .
I do not like perfumes tht are over powering , scents of flowers etc... makes u smell like a garden or funeral home ... always try to go with something tht is natural and match ur body scent

To use - spray perfume on the back of your wrists, knees & neck. And never rub, because rubbing crushes the molecules of the fragrance & ruins the scent.

Deodorant - Underarm deodorants or antiperspirants are part of the daily routine .. My fav is Lady Speed Stick ... and my fav scent is Baby Fresh .... i find it is very light , irresistible and natural ...

ahem.. well, to be frank here..i haven't been using any kinda moisturizing product regularly/ on daily basis. neva liked.. but i know its necessary.
and recently i've started using a moisturiser. (Neutrogena) b4 dat i had tried a moisturizing lotion (Johnson) but dat didn't suit me well..

even i do use Pantene... have used hair-moisturising-lotion(L'oreal) (only sometimes i do) neva used an hair-creme though..

^ cool Farah , i use Neutrogena too with SPF 15 or regular for nght time .. its the same like Dove ... Johnson products for kids isnt it ?
