LOC stops Khakee's arrival


According to some reports, J.P.Dutta's LOC - Kargil which has got delayed by over two weeks successively is now definitely releasing on a Thursday, Dec 25. Apparently, the Ministry of Defence (MOD) has cleared the film without a hitch and only the Censor Certificate is awaited, which insiders insist wouldn't be a problem. The only trouble is that the print is yet to reach the Censor Board office yet!

Meanwhile, Rajkumar Santoshi's Khakee has been shifted to January 9/16, 2004 - given the two -week gap agreement between the makers LOC and Khakee. A formal document was drawn up between the two parties that Khakee would be released only after LOC had had a clear fortnight run in theatres.

As a result, LOC's delay has meant release trouble for Khakee as well, but producer Keshu insists that "This is the final date. I am definitely coming on either 9th or 16th January, irrespective of anyone coming or not."

The catch is that the India-Australia cricket series also takes place in January 2004 and will ensure low attendance in cinema halls – a factor which effectively will push Khakee to February. Isn't that right, Mr. Keshu?

i like LOC and border Kinda movie .... i hate Hero and gadar kinda movie ... .... iam an Indian ... But I hate da way they show pakistaniz as a monsters in hero n gadar :roll:
But None of da movies { incliding kareena n preity movies} cant stop me watching cricket match ...
