We hosted a Christmas eve dinner and we are hosting a new year's eve dinner/celebration with even more expected guests... double the number of confirmed guests at this point and possibly several more.

I plan on keeping my dogs away from the crowd of unfamiliar people and shutting them into bedrooms- which also keeps people out of those rooms... I don't like people who come to your house and then roam around peeking into rooms haha believe me, I am thinking of a couple specifically.

Anyhoo, how do you guys handle hosting a large get-together with your dogs? Do you give them free roam inside in spite of knowing some guests do not particularly care for dogs and/or they have allergies?
Do you crate them? Close them into spare rooms?
