Blunt cleans up at MTV Awards

James Blunt was the big winner at the MTV Video Music Awards in New York last night. The British star fended off his American rivals for the Best Male Video and Best Cinematography Awards. Blunt turned up with his new girlfriend, model Petra Nemcova – the new face of John Lewis.

Blunt was presented his award by Lil' Kim who made her return to the Awards after spending a year in the jail for perjury. She turned up in a hot orange prison suit and flanked by two security guards before stripping off into a stunning black and gold trouser suit and shouting to the crowd, 'The girl is back!'




On giving Blunt his accolade she said, 'Y'all know I've been around a lot of girls for the past year so it makes me so excited to introduce the award for best male – You can't keep a good bitch down.'

Other winners at the star studded event included, Kelly Clarkson, Beyonce, Pussycat Dolls and Gnarls Barkley.
